President George W. Bush
In 1987, Doug Wead served as the campaign liaison to constituent groups for Vice President George H.W. Bush and reported directly to George W. Bush. After GHW became president, GW asked Wead, "What do I do now as the son of a president." Wead proposed doing a memo on presidential children. GW agreed and from that research Doug Wead's bestselling book All the Presidents' Children was born.
